Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band centered out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is created from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his youth buddy, Spencer Smiths (drums), in conjunction with their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To promote their tune, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) simply by his LiveJournal webpage. Impressed through the band, Wentz for my part met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band launched their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which could debut at #112 on the Billboard 2 hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, achieving #1 at the MySpace chart, and regularly staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, could simply support grow the bands status. An appearance how to start kpop business on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the best of their tune video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band plenty exposure.
To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has bought over 750,000 gadgets. The band is recently headlining a North American summer season excursion with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound, a band also signed to Decaydance.
